Hi All,

	excuse me if this isn't the right site to pose that kind of questions,
but I'm searching aids or suggestion on how manage a customer's need that could
be a common problem on some customers sites, so I will share this topic on some
conferences hoping someone else take part in that.

	(It 's strategic too!!!)

	So the problem is: 

- My customer is moving from CATIA and CADAM (both) to Euclid (this isn't a
  problem is a victory!).
- The costomer has a lot of old draws in such formats (thousands).
- Our local Matra's agent talked to us of an expensive package for conversion
  from CADAM to Euclid that will be relased on Q3 fy90.
- No news for any short-time release of any converter from CATIA to Euclid.
- The customer's MIS (long before warned from us of that problem) NOW is 
  impatient to leave definitively CATIA and CADAM but he wish mantain the 
  capacity of modify the olds draws using Euclid without limitations.
- But overall I fear the "blues homesick" still comparing a CAD with the other 
  in that starting time.

	Someboy (our local Matra's agent) said the way through Iges isn't so
easy neither for CADAM, and that could be true considering too the thousands of 
designs.

	Finally the customer's MIS would prefer a package instead of a project
but that isn't a real restriction.

	If anybody have some experience on this he will be the wellcome!
