14.0. "Vax 6000-4XX Euclid Demo" by CUBICB::BARKER () Mon Jul 10 1989 08:46

    We have a made a Euclid demo for the Rigel VAX-6000-4XX world wide
    introduction tomorrow. It shows a Rigel system ,then opens the system
    up and removes a Rigel module in steps and ends up with a shaded image
    of the Rigel module.
    
    The demo will be run client server tomorrow and does require
    Euclid to be installed and running since actual geometries
    are retreived and transformed.
    
    The demo runs about 4-5 minutes on a Rigel server with Vax station
    3100 or 3500 for display.For the demo tomorrow the data base 
    will be on an solid state disk to mimimize retrieval times.
                                       
    After tomorrow the data base and spy file will be available to
    anyone that would like it. Since the product will be announced
    tomorrow this demo can be shown to anyone.

    Hallo Charlie,
    
    I would like to see the .bdu - files, if it is possible ? 
    
    EUCLID - users at DEC are the best reference for me and the best
    argument is to show our own hardware on EUCLID.
    
    Is it posssible to show this to customers or to internal SWAS and
    sales people.
