Hi Ian,
Yes, this does look like a MEMO address. It's very likely that Skandia
are connected to Scandinavian Info Link (SIL), which is a large mail
network based on MEMO. Most large corporations in Sweden are connected
to SIL. SIL have recently created an X.400 ADMD, so the best bet to
reach him is to check whether your ADMD can reach SIL.
We speak to SIL via Ericsson and PSI-mail:
PSI%<psi-template>.24037132006133::MRGATE::"MEMO::<SIL-address>"
Please observe that "SI.ULD" is not sufficient for a full SIL address
specification. There should be another element specifying the company
name, eg "SKANDIA.SI.ULD"
cheers,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
Thanks very much for the incredibly fast and helpful reply!
I have been trying to get a mail through to this address for about 3 months. After
reading your reply this morning, I got a message through within 10 minutes!
Only one problem - my contact can't reply!
I'm sending to:
PSI%024037132006133::MRGATE::"MEMO::SKANDIA.SI.ULD"
My mail arrives at Skandia giving the sending address as follows:
"ERI.VAX.HOLZER..PSI%ERI.2624589005313..MRGATE.EDS" (I am using a colleagues account)
When my contact attempts to reply using the MEMO "reply" facility (or however it's
called in MEMO) nothing comes through.
Do you have any ideas? Is it possible that the address field may not be large enough
to take my address?
Cheers,
Ian

Hi,

Yes, possible and probable. If Skandia's MEMO system is sufficiently
up-to-date (don't know exact version, but my guess is they'll have it)
the MEMO system manager should be able to modify the address length
limit. Whether he wants to do it is an entirely different matter.
cheers,
Stefan
