124.0. "Support needed, please" by OSLACT::TORKILD_P (___m_{}_m___) Tue Mar 10 1992 19:52

Hi,

My MAILGATE gateway has now been down for 2 days, and the due to the
unavailability, the problem is *CRITICAL*! All tests from the IBM site is
now in the process of being shut dowm because of this -- can someone
*please* give me some more assistance on my problem (as in 121.*)? Or
alternately guide me how to go to be able to get some support?

Login from Easynet nodes to the gateway system is possible (via some SET
HOST/DTE hacks..)

In advance thanks,
Torkild

    Hi,

Thanks to excellent (off-line) help from Stefan, the MAILGATE is now
shuffling mail again! He adviced me to disable ADDRESS_TRANSLATION, and
this obviously released some(?) messages blocking the gateway. The NBS
dump files can be copied from OSLACT::MAILGATE_*.NBSDUMP (3 files, 140
    blocks).

Btw, I'm trying to send from IBM MEMO using DDA's (actually just one
DDA), but the message thru the X.400 gateway fails with a message:

%MRX-W-WASPRESENT, Node to be inserted in tree is already present

The NBS dump for this message is at OSLACT::DDA_FAIL.NBSDUMP in case
someone would like to take a look. The FIELD[TO] itself looks good to
me, what else could be wrong? An MRX bug maybe?

    Thanks,
    Torkild

This indicates a possible MRX internal error. The MRX Image may be corrupt.
If this error persists, reinstall MRX.

An update from me... I installed DECnet/VAX Extensions and MRX S2.2-001,
and the "WASPRESENT" is not any longer present.
