Rob,
Please look again. Of course MRMEMO does not convert MEMO messages to
DX. What makes you say it does?
Does it arrive in DX format to the user? If so my guess is
that some other software is interfering, although I don't know of any
that does.
Completely bewildered,
Stefan

| Stephan,
what is the format of the message when mrmemo put them to mailbus,
is it TEXT or something else.

113.3 | Yes | STKOFF::SPERSSON | Pas de probleme | Thu Jan 23 1992 15:01 | 13 |

Yes it's TEXT.
The .NBS files that MRMEMO produces can be found in
MRMEMO$DIR:MRMEMO1-CONTENTS.NBS (the most recent file is always there,
which means you'll have to be quick to catch it)
I'm really curious as to how you figure MRMEMO creates DX messages. I
suspect there's a major misunderstanding here.
regards,
Stefan

| As far as I know, Rob was also experimenting with MRXLATE.
So perhaps that has something to do with it ?

113.5 | Smoke but no real fire | IJSAPL::EISINK | Returned from the courts of Chaos | Thu Jan 30 1992 09:06 | 13 |
| Hi,
I went on site and the customer made some changes in the
configuration. Those changes had ome impact. Mail sent from IBm to the
memo gateway was rejected and was not delivered.
In stead other mail (from ALL-IN-1 IOS) was coming in ALL-IN-1 MAIL
for... This resulted in mail not ariving. The customer believed it was
mail from the memo gateway, so asuming that memo sents DX instead of
ASCII.
so a lot of smoke,
regards Rob.
