    	Hi,
    
    MR-MEMO is working fine but mostly in the weekends the IBM is shut
    down. This results in a quit long log file because every x seconds an
    event is logged in the MEMO logfile.
    
    Is there a way to prevent to logging all the same events or just log
    one event saying that the gateway is down and one that is saying the
    gateway is up again.

    I'm afraid not. The only thing you can affect is the server restart
    interval (MRMMAN> DEFINE/CLOCK_TICK). The value of this qualifier
    defines the interval between the log messages. The default is 30
    seconds and you could set this a little longer (like 5-10 minutes). You
    would have a little shorter list of log messages, but they would not go
    away completely. The drawback is that it would take longer for messages
    to be processed by the gateway.
    
    What about shutting MRMEMO down regularly every Friday evening and
    restarting it Monday morning?
