I am somewhat confused at this point, but will make an attempt to
converse.........
Different notes mention PROFS, SNADS, ALL-IN-1 Mail working fine,
ALL-IN-1 Classic not working fine...., and one topic on DISOSS which I
did not understand.
My Toronto-based customer is using the PC-based MEMO Gateway to connect
to their U.S. parent company's DISOSS world. Our customer is now
interested in starting an ALL_IN-1 Classic V2.4 pilot at the beginning
of Q2; and the questions have already started about MEMO and DISOSS.
Some questions of my own are:
It sounds like MRMEMO is necessary to connect to PC-based MEMO Gateway,
however, is their product saleable in Canada?
If saleable, will MRMEMO work with ALL_IN_1 Classic (customer wants to
use Classic instead of Mail in the pilot)?
Will users in the parent company DISOSS world be able to receive and
send back to Canada ALL-IN-1 users?

First of all, as you surely already know the preferred way of
connecting to MEMO and DISOSS is MRMEMO *and* MR/S:

This will give maximum gateway functionality, and you will have a good
chance of implementing the Mailbus the way it was intended.
On the other hand, what you're asking is whether it's possible to route
message via the MEMO/DISOSS gateway:

I think you'll agree that this looks like a "clumsier" solution, and
that the risk of running into problems increases by adding an extra
gateway on the way. But I asked my friendly contact at Verimation, and
he said that this should be perfectly possible.

MRMEMO is available as a PASS in Canada, not as a product. You can get
it from the Assets library in Turin, Italy. See POMPEO::EOASSETS 84.*

Yes.
