Hung,
The communication protocol between MEMO and MRMEMO specifies an
attribute which enables/disables Telex traffic through MEMO. In the
first versions this attribute was always set disabled by us (I guess
we wanted the MEMO users to use MRT to use our "MAILbus backbone"
instead of the other way round). However, due to heavy requirements
from certain user communities we changed this from versions 1.* to
version 2.0, so that telex traffic should now be possible.
So, if your customers are still using version 1.*, then please tell
them to upgrade to V2.0, otherwise we may have a problem and then
you need to be more specific about your description of it.
cheers,
Stefan

Yesterday I spoke to a Verimation representative, and his statement
was:
There are two possible addressing syntaxes for telex. One is
exemplified by:
1) TLX.COMPANY
where TLX is the general telex distribution group and COMPANY is
a predefined (in the MEMO directory) telex address. This should work.
The other addressing syntax is:
2) tx=12345 ASB
This does not work because of bugs in MEMO/Gateway (which, for clarity,
is their software, not ours)
However, even with alternative 1, there may be bugs in early versions
of MEMO/Gateway which still make it impossible to send telexes.
This should be possible to fix on site with a ZAP (apparently an
equivalent to our PATCH utility). Please get in touch with your local
friendly Verimation representative to check this out. If none is
available then contact me and I'll give you a number to ring in
Gothenburg, where their headquarters are.
