Does anyone think we've got a few too many notes conferences for one organization? Off the top of my head we have: KOOLIT::IDC (periodically active) NOTED::SES (mostly moribund) AIRBAG::DEC_TEMPLATE (fairly quiet). TNPUBS:I_EXCHANGE (very quiet). And of course...if you want information about some of the SES templates, you have to go to the WINWORD notes conference. Why not consolidate some of these? Could we have one notes conference for all of our templates and one for general information/discussions, etc.? Just a thought... joan

8.1 | I-Exchange Should Replace IDC & SES Conferences | DOCTP::SMASELLA | Tue Jun 27 1995 09:32 | 8 | |
Well, I'd like to see the SES and IDC notes conferences go away. The SES conference got off to a bad start, so it's really not used. We are no longer IDC, and that may be why there is little activity there. I do think there is a need for conferences on specific topics, like Word for Windows and templates. The I-Exchange conference is meant to be a vehicle for general discussion and communication. I hope that the activity picks up in the near future. |
