Okay, I've read a bit about Interleaf 6 for Windows in the Interleaf Notes Conference, and I was wondering what the odds were that we are interested, as a group, in jumping on board? I'd love to shed my workstation and rely completely on the PC. Would we save money dropping existing field service contracts on the workstations? Would Interleaf for Windows run faster than Interleaf for VMS (which we all know can be a dog)? I look forward to learning more. Rikk

The performance stats on I6 for Windows haven't been published yet. Configuration information suggests that our PCs, as a rule, will be ok (12mb of memory reqd). Schedules call for FCS in late March. Watch the Interleaf and WorldView conferences for further information. |
