Subj:	Anti-virus kits.

Best source of up-to-date info is notes file FIDDLE::PC_SECURITY
or, second choice, VTX file VTX SECINFO.

Quick synopsis: 
 Kits are available on diskettes from the SSB in Westboro 
  (ordering info in notes file).
 Network copies are available from MINOTR::USER6:[VIRUS]
 
 The currently available kits are:
  Our EISG standard kit, a scanner from McAfee Associates, modified by us.
  The F-Prot scanner/TSR (which gives some immunity).

 The compressed (ZIPPED and then ZIP2EXE to make self-exploding)
 files are in [VIRUS] called:
 C_F_PROT.EXE for F-Protect
 COMPSCAN.EXE for the McAfee scanner
  There are also subdirectories with the uncompressed kits.

I keep the latest versions (I get them directly from the authors) in the
MINOTR account.  The SSB is usually behind on versions, as they make up
large batches, and update as they run out of a series.
