Problem: Interleaf was printing screens much darker than they should have been. Solution: I found that the problem was in the "shell" of the file. If I took a file that I knew worked fine and copied that to get a shell, then copied all the components of the bad file into the new shell, everything worked fine.

It sounds as though there is some leakage of PostScript data from the ``shell'' into the screen, as though some variables are not getting properly cleared. One more reason for Interleaf to move forward to support encapsulated PostScript. /kh |
