Question: When I try to print a whole book, Interleaf displays the following message: "file-name" in "book-name" must be readable to be printed. None of the icons you selected will be printed. Answer: If you can print the file inside the specified book, the file itself is readable. Open the property sheet for the catalog to ensure that the catalog is linked correctly. When you open the property sheet if a message displays saying that this file is linked to a nonexistent file, the problem is that your catalog is not linked to anything. Cut the bad linked catalog and copy/link a new catalog from the Communications Cabinet, Catalogs Drawer and paste it into the book. All linked catalogs must have the following information as part of the path name: IWS4069$DISK:[IWS3$LIB.COMMUNICATION.COMMUNICATION_CAB.CATALOGS_DRW] This indicates that they are linked to the catalogs in the Communications Cabinet. Everyone should link their catalogs to the ones that exist in the Communications Cabinet and not to the System Cabinet.

Problem: When I try to print , I get the message "Can't open printer fonts." Answer: Pull down the printer property sheet and make sure that the document is set for ps and not cx. That is the only time I have ever gotten that message is because the document was looking for cs or bit stream fonts. |
