    I got a call from Gary White (formerly of MOD400 Communications and of
    Honeywell's PC effort) this weekend.  He's been at Wang for the past
    five years (and hoping to find a better situation for about four of
    them).
    
    After an intensive one-year search, Gary and Julie have bought a
    business in Lancaster, PA.  They've sold their house in Lexington and
    will be passing papers for both a new home and the business at the end
    of August.
    
    They will be servicing small businesses in the Philadelphia/York/
    Lancaster area, installing PC-based applications and LANs to meet
    customer needs.  Julie is the application/database expert and Gary will
    do the system/network stuff, including physical configurations.  The
    wife of the current owner will stay on for a year as an employee to
    help with the transition.
    
    They're VERY excited about this new endeavor.  Gary is also QUITE
    relieved to be getting away from working for a large (and failing)
    company.  Now, HE'LL get the benefit of all the intensity that he has
    always put into his work.  (I should know -- Gary and I were good
    friends in high school 25+ years ago in Denver.)
