Bull HN - President Roland Pampel resigns. Replaced by Axel Leblois {The Wall Street Journal, 29-May-91, p. B4} Mr. Pampel said he discussed with the company's chairman a transfer to a high-level position in Paris where Groupe Bull's research and development operations are concentrated, "but quite frankly I didn't want to go to Paris for personal reasons." He noted that the job in the U.S. requires a focus on sales and service. "I've got a lot of technology in my blood and I want to keep it in my job," he said. Mr. Pampel said he doesn't have any immediate employment plans. "I'm going to take my time," he said. Mr. Leblois, 42, had been vice chairman of closely held International Data Corp., the publisher of ComputerWorld and a host of other computer magazines, and head of its International Data Corp. unit, a market research firm.
