    I'm not used to write in this conference but JUN-6 is particular as I
    remind foreign soldiers who fight in France in JUN-6-1944 and following
    month.
    Many of them died this day (The Longest Day) in Normandy and then 
    everywhere on our country and this entry is to thank again all these guys
    who came and died in France to allow our European peoples to get back our 
    freedom.
    I'll probably forget some countries, I'm sorry about that, but I thank
    all these soldiers from U.S., Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand,
    Africa, ...
    I've 'visited' some of the graveyards in Normandy. Its VERY impressive.
    I was not born on JUN-6-1997 but I remind their lives sacrifices and I
    want to thank them again with a great respect.
    
    Never forgot this date.

    My uncle was in Burma.  But, thanks for putting in this reminder
    of those that were there.  Wish the world leaders could find a 
    different way of "winning wars"!!!

    Don't forget Canada.  One of the 4 D-Day beaches was Canadian.   The
    Canadian Forces built up to full Army status quickly.  (We got left out
    of the movie "The Longest Day")
    
    Poland should be remembered to.  They fought in France and in Holland
    in Division strength.  So did the Free French.  
    
    Here's to them all.  (Especially my dad. HMS Glasgow, fire support, 6
