    In the 80's we purchased a company known as EA Systems, which owned a
    PDM software product known as Re:Solution.  This product is now
    end-of-life, yet some customers are still running it and looking for
    help.  The last person supporting it, Ron Short of Minneapolis, left
    but is interested in doing support as a personal sideline.  The small
    T&M contracts this would generate make it cost-prohibitive to run through
    NSIS books, so I'm inclined to set him up with a VAXstation and the
    source and refer customers to him.
    
    I'm interested in two things:
    
    1. A person or persons who could authorize the source code to be
    transferred/sold since we no longer intend to sell or support it.
    
    2. Feedback on any licensing or legal ramifications you may see in this
    situation, as well as any precedents I could use.
    
    We're trying to do the right thing for Digital and our customers, and
    right now by telling them we can't do anything we're ticking them off.
