| VTX SMC used to work (a few months ago). Today it doesn't. I don't know
whether that's a temporary glitch or a long-term "improvement". The VTX
SMC service is still listed on the corporate VTX listing dated Oct 96.

Thanks Atlant, I got there, but alas, there are no standards for
suspended dust particulate matter in a class b environment.

| RE: 5 -- VTX SMC
Standards and Methods Control moved last weekend from Littleton to
Acton (AKO) and, as with many moves, the VTX Server numbers may not
have been updated in various sites around DIGITAL. Also, our node
JOKUR seems to be having some periodic problems so perhaps you tried at
a "down" time!.
VTX SMC, however, is updated a couple times a week with our latest
information.
Our documents and related information are also available
on our Web site at http://www-server.mso.dec.com/smc/home.htm -- or get
into the DIGITAL internal home page and look for "Standards and
Policies."
We'll be using the Web site exclusively after June or so -- so would
appreciate any ideas about how to make that application more "user
friendly!"

5104.8 | using the internal Altavista got 29 hits at the following | NETCAD::BATTERSBY | | Fri Jan 24 1997 14:00 | 16 |
| RE: .3 using the Intranet Altavista search, and using the
keywords contamination and corrosion I did get 29 hits on
links to look at. A couple in particular are;
the ECC (Environmental Computing Consulting homepage)
http://asewww.zko.dec.com/groups/ecc/homepage.htm
A chapter on contamination and corrosion control
http://engptr.xko.dec.com:8008/chapter8.html
I tried all other combinations of keywords like computers,
class b environment, air filtering, dust, all to no avail.
But contamination and corrosion got some possibly worthy hits.
