| AN interesting note...
The NASDQ has run on Digital DECnis routers for years. Yet because
Digital isn't listed on the NASDQ and NASDQ has a sort of policy about
NOT advertizing about people who are not members....we never were able
to break out and advertize that face.
And, MCI's 'largest internet' may be Crisco routers....but their
internal production network (that they use to track, account, collect
money) is all DECnis routers - notably because of sub-second IP
failover in router clusters (which we easily beat Crisco at...)
Now if we could only market....
(grumble...)

| As I recall, an Intel MASSIVELY parallel computer BROKE the teraflop
"barrier" late last year, utilizing >200 pentium pros @speed
un-remembered. Was not a single chip, not likely to be in my lifetime.
