Believ it or not there are still customers out there that are happy
with Digital products (maybe not services, but that's a different
story...
I know of a customer that has a GREAT story to tell about StorageWorks
and can't seem to find anybody that is interested.
The story start out with the corruption of some system files that keep
an Alpha cluster from booting, but it ends with several swaps of disk
drives on the fly between systems (using StorageWorks cabinets attached
to other systems even with different versions of VMS so that the files can be rebuilt with
out re-installing VMS.
The customer is a health system and the systems are production and very
sensitive to outages of any kind...
Anybody know if there are still people that care about how great this
technology is? The cutemoer is willing to be used a reference.
