Thanks, Steve. ========================================================== <<< MLOPCS::MLOPCS_SYS01:[NOTES$LIBRARY]DWT.NOTE;1 >>> -< Digital Workstation Teams >- ================================================================================ Note 6718.0 Open-GL guru wanted... No replies ADOV01::MANUEL "Over the Horizon...." 24 lines 19-AUG-1996 09:44 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Folks can anyone help me .. I need a guru to teach an Open-GL/Open-3D hands on course to a group of developers down here in Australia (Melbourne) within the next couple of months - any volunteers - all expenses paid. The software environment is Teleuse/ADA/Rational going to OpenVMS target, the project is the Jindalee Over-The-Horizon Radar Network (JORN) which is deploying a number of OTH systems across Australia. Equipment is Alphastation 500, dual screen Powerstorm 4D20 graphics. The person must be fluent in real time aspects of high performance displays - no novices please - the customer is reasonably fluent in Open-GL programming but requires advice on producing really high performance code. I can be reached by vaxmail at adov01::manuel or internet mail [email protected] or phone 61 8 84084232 or just post a reply here if you wish. Steve Manuel ABU Technical Support Australia.

First place I would look is Open3D engineering. Contact Dick Coulter (manager) at DTN: 223-6250 WRKSYS::COULTER. There is Also there is an Open3D notes conference... bgsdev::open3d. The OpenGL "guru" that I know in that team is Andy Vesper. wrksys::vesper. DTN: 223-6315. If that doesnt work out... I work for the team that supports Open3D (along with some other software products) here at the CSC in Atlanta GA. I am very familiar with Open3D, graphics cards, performance issues etc. I also have *some* OpenGL programming exp, and even a bit of ADA. I have delivered material inhouse here in the past, but would need a good deal of preparation for anything like what you are talking about. Also my manager may not want to let me go..
