|  |     Rob,

    Hi I am Manoj Shah, product manager for Capacity Planner product. May
    be we can use what you have. My product takes feed from all other UNIX
    platforms as well.

    Regards,
    Manoj

| | At the moment, anybody within digital is welcome to the data collector.
    It can be found on:

    	NASAXP::collect.tar.gz			(DECnet)
    	nasaxp.rto.dec.com:collect.tar.gz	(anon ftp)

    At the moment, you need lsm installed (at least you need the includes)
    to be able to compile it. If you'd like the executable only, I can
    make them available (there are different ones for V3.x and V4).

| 4774.3 | DECUS, and/or freeware CD | PERFOM::HENNING |  | Wed Aug 14 1996 16:39 | 8 |
| | Once upon a time, you could contribute freeware to DECUS and they would
    in turn redistribute it. It was a fairly simple form, which needed
    only a few signatures. Ask DECUS.

    Also, there is a freeware CD that comes with Digital UNIX. There ought
    to be a product manager somewhere in the UNIX group that would know the
    procedure for making contributions to it (and getting Digital's
    approval for it).

| | He should be here shortly, Peter Kaiser, as I've seen some recent
    posting by him. He must be on vacation, it's August in Europe. I
    think he was involved in the Distribution of the first Freeware CD for
    Digital UNIX. You might want to send him at note at HERON::KAISER.

    	Regards,

| | Send mail to [email protected]. I don't think Pete is involved with
    this anymore. There's a new two-disc freeware set with Digital UNIX
    V4.0, and OpenVMS also has a freeware CD.

What month is it in your country?

| | The new UNIX freeware CD was done by UNIX Engineering, but I don't know
by whom in particular. For VMS, Steve Zalewski ([email protected])
would be an excellent contact.
I still get mail from outside Digital at [email protected], an address
established in 1992. And I answer it, too.
