    I have a colleague who is trying to contact the european manager
    that is in charge of the terms and conditions for channels partners.
    Would anyone happen to have lead we could give her??

                                              Thanks

    Does anyone know the breakdown of the 60,000 digital employees. How
    many in manufacturing, sales, support, etc. approximately?

    just curious,

    	I was going to ask the same question, except for a breakdown
    	by state and country.

    	Thanks for any info.

    VMS has a utility called SHOW CLUSTER/CONTINUOUS.

    This shows the dynamic state of a cluster by whatever time interval is
    selected.

    	What DIGITAL needs is a similar tool:-

    	$ SHOW ORGANISATION/CONTINUOUS/INTERVAL=1(second!)

    		....to keep us up to date with organisational changes!

    re .8: if the tool runs on VMS, I'd pefer

    $ SHOW ORGANISATION/CONTINUOUS/INTERVAL=1 [microfortnights]

    I once went out consulting at a large West Coast bank and asked for an
    org chart, and was told that they didn't have a system with fast enough
    response time to keep up with the organizational changes going on...

Would some TurboLasers and Oracle VLM database not be up to the job? :-)

    	That reminded me of Harry Copperman's recent visit to ZKO, when he
    was explaining why he hadn't visited the site before. He said we should
    take it as a compliment. We hadn't *needed* him to visit because we
    weren't a problem area. Things here had been running really well. And
    someone from the audience piped up with, "Well, if we're so great, how
    come we can't buy paper clips?"

    Any how come there aren't any paper clips around, but there are
    plenty of wire coat hangers?

Because no document should be more than a single two-sided page.
