4561.0. ".doc for A!" by MSBCS::MCDONNELL_K () Mon Apr 22 1996 20:58

    Sorry if I'm using Notes impolitely, but it's been a while.
    I'm looking for tips on importing a Microsoft Word (.doc) into A1 for
    use as an ASCII document.
    Thoughts?
    Thx.

    Teamlinks on a PC will do this...
    Pull it into MSword, save it as an ASCII document (.TXT) and push it
    back into ALL-IN-1.

    There are probably multiple ways to do it - here's how I do it:
    In Word, from the edit menu Select All, change to Courier 10 pt, copy -
    log into Keaterm (I'm Home Alone..) and A1 - create new document and paste
    into body of created document.

    In MS-Word you can do a "Save As...' under the File pull down menu.
    Then select document type under "Save File as Type". Such as Text
    with Layout.
