4554.0. "Michael Raspuzzi's successor?" by MUDIS3::JONES (Selling Wales by the quid) Thu Apr 18 1996 06:21

Hi,

I hope this is the right conference. I'm an account manager for 5
Siemens divisions based in Munich, Germany. At the end of last year we
had crash dumps produced by an ftVAX running Air Traffic Management in
Lithuania. The dump was analysed by Michael Raspuzzi, Principal Software
Engineer, based in Nashua, New hampshire. Michael had the location code @ZKO.
We've now discovered that Michael no longer works for the company. The ELF
entry has been deleted.
So, my question is: Can someone tell me the name of Michael's manager
or one of his colleagues? It would also be helpful if you could also
give me the outside line telephone number.
Thanks in advance!

Kind regards
Mitchell

There are an assortment of folks here at ZKO that analyze system dumps,
and there are many reasons for system crashes.

These dumps are usually logged via IPMT or QAR problem reports, a
preliminary dump analysis is performed by the on-duty coroner, and the
dump is then dispatched to one of the (hopefully) relevent OpenVMS
engineer(s) responsible for maintaining the failing component(s).

What? Mr. LAT is gone? That is a real loss to the company. I worked with Mike
when I did a little support on TSM. He was a very sharp guy. It's no surprise to
hear someone with a demanding application missing his expertise.
