Are any readers of this notesfile planning to attend the Mass. Telecomm Research Conf. in Lowell on Mar. 12? (I don't have the notice in front of me, so may not have the title exactly right.) I think some people from Digital (besides V.P. Larry Walker, who is a speaker) should go, because it sounds like they are going to discuss some important stuff. I sent email to the contact person a week ago. No response yet. Has anyone else had better luck getting a response?

The official name of the conference is "Technical Conference on Telecom R&D in Massachusetts". Technical sessions on "core technologies", networks; network routing, switching, and signaling; network protocols; Internet; Wireless; and multimedia, audio, and speech. Registration for council members (which it appears all DECcies are) is $75 in advance (up to day before conference) and $100 at the door. I got a reply to my email today. The schedule won't be firmed up until a few days in advance, so I cannot post it. For more info, call the Mass. Telecom Council at 617-292-0050. |
