| Venture stores are fairly common here in the Chicago area. Theya re
essentially discount stores like K-Mart or Wall-Mart. I'm not sure
where they are headquartered, but they should be available through the
net.

| I just did a quick search in Altavista and found something like 80 hits! I
didn't have time to read many of them espcially since service over the net
stinks right now (talk about a crumbling infrastructure!). Anyhow there was
a reference to some Sprint was going to be piloting at "ATMs in Venture Stores
in the Dallas area". So we at least know where they are...
If you have more patience with the easynet than I do then maybe you can get the
details you need.

of St. Louis, MO. If you're familiar with Target stores, they're
similar.

The St. Louis field office is relatively small; most of our SI staff are
Defense and government oriented (U.S Air Force, McDonnell Douglas). Karla,
the author of .-2, is probably the best contact you will find. I haven't
heard of any dealings with Venture, but I probably wouldn't unless they had
a software project.
You might try SI unit managers Paul SLBLUZ::nittel, Paula
STOSS1::Hildebrand, or Fred STOSS1::Lanyon. Or if you think they
use Digital machines, call the switchboard Monday at (314)991-6400
(DTN 445-6400) and try to find a MCS unit manager who has dealt with
Venture.
I suspect this is going to be the equivalent of cold-calling when you
get done. I wish I could be more help.
