I believe that each of the divisions and business units (in our case) has its own manufacturing organization and procedures. Answers may vary, in other words, depending on exactly what products your customer is interested in. | |||||

...actually, all manufacturing sites have a sacrificial alter "out back" where we pray to the "God of the Golden Microchip" before starting work each shift; and we offer each product we build up to the god to be struck down should it be non-conforming. 8^) OK.
