Hi, Has anyone out there got any info on Digital's standards/methodologies for evaluating software products ( internal or 3rd party ) ? I've looked in VTX and NOTES conferences with no joy. Many thanks, Daragh.

I see that you are in Territory A. In the past when I was in Ter. A, I had much opportunity to work with sub-contractors who were supplying software & hardware components into projects. We used two sorts of evaluation methods ; i) Formal software acquisition (licencing & purchasing related) Try contacting Chris Robins @REO - she is an expert in this field. ii) Product evaluation, standards&quality, factory visit etc. Here I cannot remember the contact person's name but once again it was Purchasing who arranged this for me and we used some excellent resources from the Solent special systems group.
