Hi,
I just couldn't find another conference on this subject
(or rather did'nt know where to look). One of our prospects
needs to connet their Alpha Unix to the IATA network for
exchanging messages. Are there some special hardware for
this kind of application? Any details, pointers, names
would be highly appreciated.
thanks,

My information is dated, but it used to be that IATA used 6-bit baudot
code as the least common denominator for communications.
Check with Digital's datacom folks, or find the American, United, or
Delta rep's. They'll lead you to timely information.
Good Luck
