| | Since he is preparing a bid to a 'government agency' I suspect he
probably has to sell it under the T's and C's of the GSA schedule we
have with the U.S. Government. So, a good place to start is in the
VTX_IR under Sales Policy with the published GSA schedule. It pretty
much outlines what we (Digital) are under contractural obligation
to sell our products and services to the governement.

Another place to look is under Sales Programs. There we list the
current sales promotion programs in effect. Most of these have
something called a MOA, which is a 3-letter things for Master Order
Allowance. It's a pre-approved allowance, kinda' like a rebate from GM
when you go to buy a car, except it flows from us either to the
Customer directly or to the Business Partner if they are selling on
behalf of Digital. They in turn can pass this along to the end-user at
their discretion. This information is also in VTX under Sales
    Programs.

| | Have him contact his Digital Sales Rep, possibly through his corporate
office. If he is an indirect VAR, refer him to his distributor. Just
throwing information at him exposes Digital if he (incorrectly) bids
with what we give him. CALOOK shows Computer Concepts as an end user
    with no VA. location.

If all else fails, contact Jan Smith's organization - responsible for
all direct VARS in that patch.
