I'm looking for somebody who can give me advice regarding porting VAX/VMS macro code to an Alpha VMS environment. I am currently working on portng an ADA,Ingres and Macro (yes it is ugly) application from a Vax 6340 to an Alpha 2100 server. Much of the macro code uses directives which are not supported in MACRO32 on Alpha. If you think you have the experience or know the name of somebody who fits the bill, I would be greatful for a reply. This is a billable contract to perform this task. Thanks in Advance, Ray

You might also try the OpenVMS conference (VAXAXP::VMSNOTES). Paul | |||||

Rather than the generic OpenVMS conference VAXAXP::VMSNOTES, there is notes conference specific to MACRO: TURRIS::MACRO -- SEARCH the master listing of conferences at HUMANE::SYS$PUBLIC:EASYNOTES.LIS if you are not sure where a subject is discussed. Also note that there is a manual on this subject -- porting Macro code -- in the OpenVMS Alpha manual set. (I'd give you the part number but somebody borrowed my copy.) For further assistance, you'll want to check with the services folks. |
