    	Could use a little help....

Have a customer that needs a very people-skilled software
engineering guru who's primary expertise is communications
applications for Digital. X.25 experience would be a big plus.

We can bill this person to said customer for about a week.
Said guru would get to travel to beautiful downtown Dallas, and
(major drum roll) Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Customer has written home grown communications application
to our X.25 LP (which is *NOT* the problem) and all sorts and
sundry stuff like Excellnet, VMS, etc. Application is about
3,000 lines of code, and could use serious "suggestions"
about making said code "work better".

Right now code causes transactions to do almost anything,
including unmentionable things in polite company. One thing the
code does not do is perfrom reliability. Customer knows Digital
is not a fault, but account team sees chance to score major
points in a very high visibility application within a large
glass house. Fact that money will change hands also helps.

I need names of gurus you would speak highly of after the
job is completed. This is a real urgent situation since their
project cannot go live until this code is fixed.

    	Thanks.
