Help required - posted on behalf of Chris Hall at the UK CSC I have a call running with Polycenter NSR v3.1 client for OSF/1, but we are now stuck because although we support NSR for OSF/1, we don't support, or have ANY skill in the building on the OS2 client side where the problem is. The problem is sufficiently deeply linked with NSR's communication with OS2 that we are unable to even understand the problem! In addition the product is not actually on the UK supported list (though I believe that this is an oversight, rather than planned) and we are entirely unable to progress the call. The customer is very keen on getting a solution! ( The master of under-statement! ). Please can anyone suggest where Chris can get help from for this problem? Call him on DTN 833 3394 or E-mail Kernel::Hall

There are some OS/2 users in Digital UK, try noted::os2, or how about the DECnsr people themselves? | |||||

Yes, Please talk to us!!! You will find the DECnsr (NetWorker) engineering group to be fairly responsive. If we cannot answer the problem, we can tell you how to get into contact with someone who can. Please follow this up in the DECWET::DECNSR notesfile, and I will personally see to it that you are taken care of. Kevin Farlee POLYCENTER NetWorker Engineering |
