4117.0. "Key Performance Indicators" by BIS1::WAUTERS () Wed Sep 13 1995 11:32

    In the context of an outsourcing project, we need to deliver on
    Wednesday next week a first draft of an analysis about the "Key
    Performance Indicators" of applications.

    At this stage, this is still a very conceptual approach : a few KPI's
    (!) have been identified like "Availability", "Response Time", ...

    We need to provide guidelines like, for "Availability" :
    	- time range ( available from <Start_time> to <End_time> )
    	- who are the users concerned
    	- what part of an application must be available
    	- ...

    To be honest, I'm a technical person and writing that kind of "paper"
    is not my preferred activity, even if the customer pays for it.

    So you can imagine that I do not want to reinvent the wheel.

    Turning to the broad audience of HUMANE, can you help me by providing
    documents that I could use as a starting point ?

    So : what do you know about "Key Performance Indicators" ?

    A bottle of belgian beer for the ones who can help ...

    Philippe
