4106.0. "Digital Alumni Directory" by HYDRA::PURDY () Thu Sep 07 1995 14:40

Recently I heard that there was a publication called the Digital Alumni Directory that listed
the locations of past Digital employees. Has anyone else heard of this publication? Does anyone know
where I can get a copy?

Thanks,
Tamara

    My wife, a TFSO'r, receives a hardcopy in the U.S. Mail every now and
    then. I believe it was compiled by DBM (Drake, Beam, Morin) the
    employment counselors DEC hired to help those who were TFSO'd.
    The directory lists names, addresses, and phone numbers of ex-DECcies
    and where they're working now (if applicable). Participation in it is
    voluntary.
    I don't have a phone number for DBM handy but I know they have a number
    of locations. My wife went to one on RT 101A in Nashua, NH.

    I think Alumni was formed by a TFSO'ed Digital employee turning
    adversity to opportunity.

    	Anyone with that moxie, and drive, should *never* have been TFSO'd.

    	Maybe they'd like a job in marketing....

    I believe the founder of this effort did have a job in marketing and
    sales. If memory serves, the alumni directory (contact info in
    previous reply) and newsletter were started by Jan Bunker formerly
    @MKO.
