4060.0. "Sales contact for Thermo industry" by USPMLO::DESROCHERS (psdv.pko.dec.com/tomd/home.html) Mon Aug 21 1995 14:46

	I looked up the following companies in VTX Calook, sent mail
	but have not heard anything so I thought I'd post this request
	here.

	On August 10th, I was at Rocco's in Marlboro and had a conversation
	with a gentleman from Michigan. Taken from his business card,
	he's with Thermo Power Corp., a Thermo Electron Company, with
	the largest name of Crusader Engines. It's a confusing card,
	with 3 business names. Each of the companies are either based
    	in or have offices in Massachusetts.

	I happened to mention the Internet and he immediately started
	asking questions about networking and - bottom line - getting
	his company(s) connected both internally and externally. He
	is frustrated and not being able to share data within the 3
	companies and embarrassed by not being able to transfer and
	share data with customers.

	While he is not the individual to work with, he does know who
	to put a Digital rep in contact with. He's in Mass. on business
	but will be in the office this week. He knows about Digital and
	of course I raved about our offerings so he is anxious to be
	contacted by us.

	Here's the info:

	I hope this helps - please let me know!

	Regards,
	Tom DesRochers

    the Internet Business Group.

4060.2Note passed onto SI group in MichiganGRANPA::LSEARSMon Aug 21 1995 17:235
    I passed the note onto the SI manager (Rick Paul @OHF)
    that covers Michigan. It looks like an excellent Internet
    Assessment services opportunity.
