| I don't know anything about the document you are referencing but the
Installed Base Marketing Group has a MS-DOS based "Cost Of Operation"
tool that contains VAX, MIPS and Alpha Cost of Ownership information.

| There is a COE software program that we produce which allow you to
compare systems, like replacing an older VAX system with a new
Alphaserver.
It is called Digital's Cost of Operation Configurator. It runs on any
Windows based PC and the author of it is Fred Bals and is noted as
version 2.0
I'm sure it can be copied, so if you send me your address I'll make you
a copy and send it to you.

| Thanks. Just placed my order via VTX LOS. I need the LOS version to
evaluate for our Business Partners. They need access and via the enet,
in this case, is NOT acceptable. I need for them to be able to order
it if they like it.

| Give Dave a call and he will square you away on any copies you need for
this tool. Kam: as an aside, Dave and I are working to merge the storage
COO tool (V1.1B) and the latest VAX System COO into a consolidated tool
that will let you specify systems with onboard storage deveices, no
storage devices, or calculate storage COO without appended systems.
