I was told by the Cell Phone Office, to ingnore those request for long
distance carreres and that they would take care of assigning the long
distance carrer. which will be MCI as are all other DEC phones have
MCI. and once MCI is the long distance carrer you will have VNET access.

| Does anyone have the name of the Digital account rep at Cellular One?
We can get a discount on our cell phone bills as Digital employees. I
had the person's name but just realized as I read this string that I am
missing the piece of paper with the phone number.

| Just FYI..... MCI is one of our Largest Partners (more commonly known
as Customers) and I'm sure that our subscription to their long distance
services has many win-win's for both of us....

I bought my cell phone from a Cellular One dealer in Littleton and
they were aware of the discount when I mentioned it. All they did is
take of Photocopy of my badge and fax it to Cellular one, and I got a
special rate in one of their programs.

| I just went to a Cellular One dealer in Littleton (probably the same
as in .6), approximately at the corner of 110/119 at the light. I
was quite satisfied with their service. (Usual disclaimer) Knowing
nothing about any of it, I found it very helpful to go through a
dealer so I could look at the phones available and ask questions.
It turned out that there was a special promotional deal that, while
more expensive per month than the DEC plan, was cheaper overall for a
year for a new customer because it included a free phone, no activation
fee, no charge for the first month, and some amount of free phone time.
The DEC plan is considerably cheaper per month, but when one added in
the cost of a phone, a $40 activation fee, and the cost of a month's
service it was slightly more expensive than the special promotional
deal. At the end of a year, if I still want a cellular phone, I'll
change over to the DEC plan.

| All of the promotions are available on the DEC plan as well. Your contract
is for a year, but does not require you to be on the plan you signed up
for. You can call up the cellular company and switch to the DEC plan
without affecting your contract.
