    I need a little help. I have a friend who owns an electrical supply
    business in Nashua, NH. The owner is looking to upgrade his current
    point of sale and inventory control system to a PC and terminal
    networked configuration.
    
    This is a small, very well established business. I've figured that
    he'll need two office PC's, 3-4 office terminals, cash register setup,
    along with the associated software packages to do transactions,
    inventory control, online estimates. Office personnel will require some
    training (since the current arrangement is *not* computerized).
    
    The owner approached one vendor who specializes in that market and
    wanted 25K+ to do the whole thing. That seemed awfully high to me. This
    is small, family owned business. 
    
    Who can I contact to get him a quote from Digital?

    Why does this seem high? The vendor has to supply:
    
    	Hardware (PCs, terminals, cabling)
    	Software (maybe off-the-shelf or semi-customized)
    	Networking
    	OS software, any shrink-wrap applications
    	Training
    	Documentation
    	After sales support
    
    And he still has to make a profit.
