3558.0. "Presentations on our new PC offerings ?" by WOTVAX::RANDEE::Morrison () Wed Dec 07 1994 06:09

Help, please.

I need to put together a presentation about Digital PC, workstation and
Server product offerings. I can find Powerpoint slides on our AlphaStation
and Alphaserver products.

Is there a node/directory/pointer to presentations describing our new PC
product range viz VENTURIS, CELEBRIS and especially the newly announced
PRIORIS server range ?

Thanks in advance.

    There is some marketing information i.e. Powerpoint presentations, on:

    MSGAXP::MARKETING:[PUBLIC]

    I don't have a full list of what it contains or even if it contains PC
    stuff but it may be worth a try.

    Theer is also a node called SUTRA which has some PC stuff on it but you
    will need to ask one of the PC notesfiles for further info.

Frank,

Thanks for the pointer. The MSGAXP::MARKETING:[PUBLIC] directory
appears to have Storageworks presentations but no PC ones.

I have also tried SUTRA:: but couldn't find any presentation
type material.

Are there any other directories I can try ?

cb,

I am now having a wonderful day, thanks. Following your note, I
had a quick look around that directory area and found exactly
what I was looking for.

The directory PCBUOA:USR20:[CAPPEL.BOD] contains loads of
presentations on our current desktop and Intel Server range.
The mumble.PPT files contain monochrome versions, mumbleV.PPT
files contain colour presentations (thanks also to Pamela CAPPEL
who explained the naming convention). Pamela also mentioned that
the presentations were given at an analysts' briefing and that
the wording should be changed from "...will have.." to "...have.."

Boy am I one-happy-chappy.

    I have written to Pamela to coordinate getting the presentations into
    the Integrated Repository (VTX IR) for others to access.
