| Ask no further!!! I was at a wedding in North Carolina and I spoke
with the person who will turn out the lights! (Hi John! B-) )
I believe he works in chip engineering in Hudson Mass so that role is
cast and we can all worry about other things!

We'll sell Hudson way before we turn out the lights. No the safest
technical job in the new Digital has to be the people writing device
drivers for our vaunted Intel PCs. So, if you can code, call 'em at the
PCBU.

Did I miss an announcment? This is the first that I've heard about ASO
being for sale.
Are the products currently manufactured there going somewhere else?
What's the time frame?

my estimation, be pretty safe.

They just hearded about 800 of so of us into the Cafateria
yesterday and announced that an outside buyer was seriously looking
at ASO. I don't know how long this has been in the works.

| The safest 'tech' job in this company is the 'hardware tech' whose job
it is to adjust the height of the SLT's chairs. The safest 'software
tech' job in this company is that of the person who inputs the salary
and stock option increases of the SLT into the electronic funds
transfer system..... ;-)#
