I wonder if anyone can help me. Does anyone know of a customer that is using VCS (Vaxcluster Console Manager) to monitor console output of a Sun or HP machine? I am really after a scan profile for these machines. If anyone can help with any information at all, please mail me on Max Rasool @new Regards, Max.

Max, I have forwarded your query to the POLYCENTER Console Manager (upgraded version of VCS) product team. Since you are in U.K., the engineering contact is: Simon Jackson (ELBRIG::sdj) Philip Baxter (OPG::PHILIP) Rae Kung (MUZICK::KUNG), the Product Manager, is away this week, as I understand, and Rick Pietravalle (ZEKE::PIETRAVALLE) is providing coverage. The notesfile is at: OPG::CONSOLEMANAGER and note 99 has some discussion on the issue of connecting to the SUN systems, and you can follow up with the author of the note. Regards, P.B. Bhat

I have already tried the VCS notes file. Unfortunately, no one appears to have the scan profiles that I want. I could create them, but that would take a fair amount of time. Especially as I am unfamilier with HP's and Sun's. Max.
