         Corporate Archives collecting information on Digital's history    
 
         The Corporate Archives, Digital's repository for historic company 
   information, is collecting the permanent records of the company.
         The Archives collects information on:
 
         o company policies and organization;
         o major companywide and departmentwide projects;
         o changes in company procedures;
         o technological advances in Digital engineering;
         o changes in Digital's product line;
         o milestones in manufacturing, marketing and sales;
         o the company's financial condition, business operations
           and employee demographics (in summary form).
 
         Also considered of permanent value are Digital's publications, 
   shareholder materials and public relations materials, including employee 
   periodicals and bulletins, product manuals and handbooks, videotapes and 
   presentations.
         Employees who have non-current records which document Digital's 
   development are encouraged to contact the Corporate Archives.  For
