And where does our world class Systems Integration capability fit in this

According to the customer letter, systems integration is part of the
"Systeme" company. In some earlier plans the name of this company was
actually "Digital Equipment Systemintegration GmbH".
One could speculate on the reason for not wanting to have a company
which explicitly had "system integration" in its name. To me the change
in name during the planning process suggests that the emphasis has
moved to systems (read base hardware and software products) and away
from systems integration.

I modified the base note to read "Digital Germany plans major split-up"
instead of "Germany plans major split-up" to avoid any further
confusion (and/or rat-holes).
re: .8
The customer letter mentions Digital Consulting only in connection with
the new Digital Equipment Systeme GmbH. The letter says that the
employees of Digital Equipment Systeme GmbH will come from the previous
Digital sales, Digital-Kienzle sales, the department Digital Consulting
and the software specialist group of Digital-Kienzle.

Dienstleistungen (German) = Services (English)

In the normal course of events it is true that external customers will
not buy the services of "Digital Equipment Dienstleistungen GmbH",
however all existing customers have now been told of its existence in
the letter that I was quoting from. So if they read the letter they
will know of its existence.
At first glance it seems quite simple:
The Services company offers external (to Digital) services whereas the
Dienstleistungen company offers only internal services.
However taking a closer look:
The Services company will probably also service the products in use at
other Digital companies, therefore in addition to offering external
services they will also offer internal services. Also since Digital
Consulting is moving into the Systeme company, presumably this company
will also be offering external services, so not only the Services
company is offering services.
I wouldn't be surprised if the names get changed again before the new
companies are filled with people, especially as the charter of each
company does not seem to have reached a stable state yet.
I'm also waiting for the fun that will start when lots of other people
get involved with internal transactions which result in intercompany
invoices. (Been there, done that.)
