2710.0. "Notes file norms" by NASZKO::COLE () Wed Oct 13 1993 14:47

I am doing some research on computer conferencing, possibly to do a
paper. I am pretty much a novice on NOTES. Can some one point me
to sources for how to set up a NOTES conference, norms for behavior,
guidelines for being a moderator, etc. I'm also interested in the folk
wisdom or unwritten expectations as well as the written down
    guidelines.

    \Paul, i help you out.

just stop by for coffee sometime in my my lavish office/cube here in ZKO
and we have a chat over donuts and i give all the secrets
and codes and what to do and not do for a successful career in the
    noting profession.

and please post the report you write on notes once it is done
so we can all read it.

    hope this help.

ps. and don't listen to \MWANNEM*.* , you are certinly most welcome in the
box or any other note file in DEC . some time ago the SLT team declared
that noting is OK and allowed in DEC and there was big pomotion about it
at the time it might be cut off but then they did not.

/nasser, are you suggesting that someone should go fork themselves?

Also I don't appreciate my name being dragged through the mud like
    this.
