| Actually I've been told that, Digital myth to the contrary, MLP stands
for manufacturers list price. I would assume we still publish a price
book somewhere. I believe that it's also in VTX PRICE (for a limited
time - see elsewhere in this conference) You could also call a sales
office I suppose.

2674.3 | MLP = US CLP - US Uplift | SMAUG::GARROD | From VMS -> NT, Unix a future page from history | Mon Sep 20 1993 23:33 | 9 |
| Re .-1
VTX PRICE contains US Country List Price ie CLP (Country List price)
for the USA. CLP = MLP + US Country Uplift.
Rumour has it that after October 4th MLP will equal US CLP but I'm not
sure on that one, ie no US Country Uplift.

2674.4 | MLP in DSPS | TUCKER::SYSTEM | | Wed Sep 22 1993 11:33 | 5 |
| MLP is the price set by Product management. Each country may, or may not modify
this price when setting a published list price for their country.
MLP can be found in the Digital Price file, commonly known as DSPS
here in the US.

| MLP is the price that keeps us uncompetitive with other multivendor
organizations.
