It wasn't out of the Palto Alto group, the request was generated
out of Landover, MD. The extra cycles from the worksatations was
used to defend his Doctoral dissertation.

extremely large numbers, have since been factored.
There is a notes conference at VMSZOO::FACTOR, but it looks fairly
quiet nowadays..
