    Did you get mail from the moderator(s) of the conference explaining why
    the note was deleted? If not, have you contacted the moderators
    directly via mail of telephone? Perhaps they have been having trouble
    getting to you.

    If you haven't tried to talk to a moderator directly I do not believe
    you care why it was deleted.

2528.2Less Sinister explanation?COMET::BARRIANOchoke me in the shallow water...Wed Jun 09 1993 18:4917

    Alfred,

 I recently had a reply disappear. When I sent mail to the moderators, they said
it hadn't been deleted but that there might be some kind of shadow set/upgrade/
mumble, mumble, software stuff problem. I reentered the reply with no furthur
problem. I believe in the adage, just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they
AREN'T out to get you, but there may be a less sinister explanation.

Barry

In past experience, sometimes notes are moved elsewhere within a conference
without the author's knowledge.
