I know!! We don't need another good bye note, but hell, I'll do it anyway. Good By, to all of you good people out there. It has been.... interesting, yah that's it... interesting. I just got notified that I am TFSOed. I have been expecting it for months. It is a relief to be done with it. Seriously, these years with DEC have been great. Now it is time for something else. I wish you all the best of luck in everything. Blessed Be, Judy

I've enjoyed your comments and style here. I wish you the best. The Babcocks at Digital are dwindling. There's one here in PTO, right next door. No relation, I assume. Phil

Well I to got the package and let me tell you it is a releaf to get out of here with what was left. I've been with Digital a little over eleven years in Chicago and have enjoyed ever bit. I wasn't sure I would be wacked, but decided two months ago to be safe and start the search for life outside our world. To my amazement there a lots of jobs out there and the pay about $10k more than what my eleven years got me too! So to all that get kicked out into the cold world let me tell you it's not soooooo coooollllddd after all. Farewell Brian Gegner Network Integrations Services Project Manager

Brian, sorry to see you go. Looks like you'll do well, though. Unfortunately, DEC, er, I mean Digital, needs to keep people like you. Anyway, it was a pleasure working with you at VKM. Best of Luck, Jim

re: basenote Goodbye Judy!! I enjoyed listening to your war stories about the Springs, and the hotline - it made me understand what kind of people I was dealing with when I called, and helped me get better results for all these customers since - turned them into real people, not just a voice on the phone! I'll miss the projects - Odyssey, SMARTS, the ones that got lots of talented people together and created some neat stuff. Too bad, 'cause I hear over and over how the New Digital is going to use "Project Managers" and contract the "coders" - pfui. You were lots of fun at these projects because you kept a sense of honor, humour, and dignity throughout the most trying times. You made it fun to work with you! My best wishes go with you - may the wind be at your back, the sun over your shoulder, and the road rise to meet you... Have fun, Learn Lots! Bruce |
